Visit Lockhart Honey Company

If you're in Lockhart, come see us!

Our retail store is more than a place to buy a bottle of honey. You can taste different varieties of honey, shop beekeeping supplies, find locally made goods, and talk bees with working beekeepers.

Whether you're a beekeeper or just really like honey, we'd love to have you stop by.

Come Taste the Difference

Honey doesn't all taste the same.

Depending on where the bees live and what's blooming, honey can range from light and delicate to dark, rich and almost molasses-like.

We carry our own Central Texas honey along with a rotating selection of distinctive American varietal honeys from different regions of the country.

Not sure which one you'll like?

Come taste them.

We'll help you find your favorite.

Need something for the bee yard?

We carry a growing selection of beekeeping equipment and supplies for both new and experienced beekeepers.

You'll find items such as:

  • Queens and NUCs when available

And if you're not sure what you need, ask us. We actually use the equipment we sell.

Honey, Gifts & Local Goods

Not a beekeeper? There's still plenty to explore.

Along with honey, you'll find beeswax products, candles, soaps, gifts, apparel and a rotating selection of products from local makers and small businesses.

Our inventory changes throughout the year, so there's usually something new to find.

Bring the Family

Honey bees are fascinating, especially when you get the chance to see them up close.

Throughout the year, we host educational activities and special events at the store, including opportunities to learn about honey bees and see what's happening inside a colony.
